Priocom is building MPLS-network for Kyivstar
Companies PrioCom and Kyivstar announce about finishing the first stages of constructing MPLS-networks (Multi-Protocol Label Switching) for company «Kyivstar» — the leading mobile operator in Ukraine.
Constructing network on base of MPLS is logical continuance of evolution own primary Kyivstar‘s network for transfer of different type of traffic including traffic of batch network. As Deputy Technical director of company «Kyivstar» Victor Yanko has noticed «Everybody knows that mobile connection market is sated. Today more than 65% Ukrainians use of mobile communication. Company «Kyivstar», the leader of market, worries over development new technologies and services. Network IP MPLS will solve two main problems. The first one is preparation «Kyivstar» network for implementation of 3G. The second problem is creation platform for new independent service segment. Shortly this service segment can be можно described as basis for creation of multifunctional corporate customers‘networks. It will be very successful business in terms of development of new economical relations in our country and increasing the level of corporation‘s good manners. As result conducted tender the most leading decisions in the world were chosen by our company. These decisions meet customers‘requirements in using of the highest telecommunication technologies in Ukraine».
According to Andrey Burgomistrenko, Sales & Project Management Director, Priocom: «The project is enough interesting as there is used number of technological decisions connected with existing capabilities of network. The feather of this project is that PrioCоm‘s command have been performed works not only on designing the networks, adjustment of all network elements and its butt-jointing with existing SDH-network, but also works on designing and development services of MPLS network».
The level of reliability network is equal 99,999% of network accessibility. It has been achieved owing to used equipments and the architectural decision developed by Priocom‘s engineers and which providing reliability of operator‘s class. Cisco IP Solutions Center 4.0 intended for management by a network and services of a network will be firstly introduced in Ukraine.
